Outreach

Here's the opportunity...October 20th

Some of our members recently attended a meaningful workshop hosted by LCMS Michigan District which outlined various strategies to grow our local mission opportunities. Hosted by Messiah Lutheran in Midland, they shared the missions they have started, how they funded them as well as their overall vision.

Our group returned filled with excitement and dreams of what our Lakeshore family could do. It was such an informative, inspiring day that upon sharing our thoughts with Pastor Chris, we all agreed we would like to take more of our Lakeshore family to the next workshop.

Would YOU be willing to go?

Pastor Chris along with Gary & Brenda Kling will be going to the workshop, Beyond the Breakwater, on October 20 from 9:30 am until 4 pm and would love to bring a large group with us. The cost for the workshop, including a continental breakfast and lunch, is only $30. We could look at carpooling. The host church is Messiah Lutheran Church in Midland. The link to register is below.

Please let our church office know if you plan to join us.

If you have any questions about the workshop, please see Shannon & Garry Johnson or Brenda & Gary Kling.
