  • Sunday Sermon - May 27th at 10 am

    Jesus has promised and given to us baptized believers the gift of the Holy Spirit. Are we open to daily receive Him and be filled with Him? The Holy Spirit is not a mere doctrine for us to intellectually accept. He is the experienced reality of God's presence in us through Jesus so we may be transformed into His likeness. This Sunday we continue our series, Open to the Spirit, with the message "Receive God's Empowering Presence" based on Acts 2:38-41; 8:4-25.

  • Kids are welcome to join us for Worship Songs, before going to Kidz Connection
    Children thru 4th grade usually meet in the ARK at 10:00 AM, but starting May 6th, kids will be encouraged to start in the Worship Center until the praise songs are finished, then parents can walk them back to the ARK for check-in to Kidz Connection.
  • Governance Ministry Board Elections
    Our 2018 GMB elections were on Sunday, May 20th following service. Congratulations to Joe Kovacs, Tom Spelman, Keena Steinke and Jack DeGelder! Our other current members on the GMB are; Rick Yonker, Mike Krause, Anne Kruger, Hilda Albright, and Dana Saunders.
  • Unity Festival Discounted Tickets on sale now thru May 27th
    Unity Festival 2018 is scheduled for August 8-11 in Muskegon. This is an awesome, family friendly Christian concert venue with big names such as Crowder, Mercy Me, Casting Crowns and For King and Country!   • Thank you for Cleaning our Church Property!
    A BIG THANK YOU to Roger Mulder, Cliff Cook, Gary Peets and Gary Kling for taking time this past Saturday to tidy-up our church property! Everything looks in place and beautiful! If you see these guys, please thank them for their volunteer efforts and service to Lakeshore Fellowship!!
  • Michigan Spoke Folk
    Spoke Folk is an organization that runs mission trips for high school and college age students that teach them how to be missionaries in their daily lives. They are taught discipleship habits and are given opportunities to experience and share the gospel. This group will be riding their bikes to Lakeshore Fellowship on Thursday, June 28th and spending the night at our church! We will be expecting 30 students and 10 counselors at approximately 3:30 pm. They would love to have us feed them dinner! We plan to do just that!!They also have a family night concert with music, skits, puppets and testimonies. Please mark your calendars to join us! More details will be coming. We also have an opportunity to bless them with breakfast on Friday. Please let us know if you want to help in any way.


  • Sunday Children's Ministry - Kidz Connection

    Sunday Morning Kids program!! Nursery thru 4th Grade meet in the ARK at 10:00 AM! Starting May 6th, kids will be encouraged to start in the Worship Center until the praise songs are finished, then parents can walk them back to the ARK for check-in to Kidz Connection.

    CREW (High School Ministry)

  • VBS (Vacation Bible School) July 9-13, 2018 from 6-8 pm

    Be part of Splash Canyon VBS! Life is full of thrills and spills! We don’t know what’s around the bend, but God does! At Splash Canyon VBS, God’s children of all ages learn the good news is God is with us and keeps His promises to us on life’s wild ride! As staff members for Splash Canyon VBS, you have fun and share the Splash Canyon message with the kids! If you can help full or part time, we have many ways to be involved to suit your schedule and interests.   • Women's Summer Bible Study

    Women's Ministry is starting a Summer Bible Series (One Song: All of our wonderful deeds) that will be offered in the evening AND during the daytime! Join either group, enjoy the same study! Mondays, starting June 4th at  7-8 pm and Wednesdays, starting June 6th at 9:30-11 am. Plan to meet in the Prayer Room.   • Women's Events
    Women's Ministry will be hosting a Pool Party on Saturday, July 14th from 3-7 pm! More details coming.
    Women's CONNECT will be hosting an evening campfire on Monday, August 20th, here in our backyard at Lakeshore. More details coming soon.
  • Men's Prayer Breakfast and Bible Study

    Meets every second Saturday of the month from 7–9 am in the Atrium. All men are welcome to join them June 9th! Great food, great time & great study! Any questions, please contact Randy Deater at 616-402-5248.

  • Grace Adventures Camp
    Youth camp in the summer will be at Grace Adventures - July 20-22. A $50 deposit will be due by June 3rd. If you think you want to attend camp, please come to a brief meeting on Sunday, May 13th at 9:15 am to select camp activities!! More details and sign-up opportunities will be coming.   • Theology on Tap

    Men, please prayerfully consider inviting men you know who are unchurched or who have doubts/questions about Christianity. Bring them to this evening, where we can freely discuss together questions about Christianity over a beer in a safe, non-threatening environment. Theology on Tap will be at Odd Side Ales on every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7 pm. Men, bring a friend, and enjoy some Theology on Tap! 

  • Household Necessity Pantry

    The Household Necessities Pantry Give-A-Way occurs several times a year where members of our community in need of personal care items are given shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, laundry soap, toilet paper, trash bags and household cleaner. Members of Lakeshore; if you are in need of pantry items, you do not need to wait for distribution days!   • "Sandy" passed away on May 21st
    "Sandy" who received 35 cards from the family of Lakeshore Fellowship has passed away. Please pray for her family as they mourn her passing. As you may recall, she was ill and unchurched. Rebecca Steinke asked you, the congregation, to send her a note of encouragement. YOU all did!! She was amazed that people she doesn't even know sent messages of care and prays to her. Thank you all for helping to be the hands of Jesus to this individual.
  • RENEW Campaign

    Members of Lakeshore Fellowship voted to enter into a capital campaign to manage our larger maintenance needs (roof, technology, parking lot). The campaign has been named: RENEW. Brochures are available (RENEW Brochure) to educate you on the campaign, and how we need your help to make it succeed!  Commitment Cards are still being accepted. If you have not yet had the opportunity to fill out a Commitment Card, please prayerfully do so. We would like to collect a card from EACH family-unit here at Lakeshore Fellowship (even if you cannot give at this time). RENEW Commitment Card 

    We will be personally contacting all families that do not reply, so all members will have the opportunity to know about our facility needs. Please simply let us know.   • Welcome Dena Buikema - our new Bookkeeper
    Dena Buikema is our new Bookkeeper at Lakeshore Fellowship. She is a lifelong resident of Muskegon and has served in accounting for over 22 years at Eagle Alloy.   • Scrip

    Proceeds from Scrip sales is now going toward the ARK Roofing Project! Help us earn free money to help pay for our project! We order cards from thousands of merchants locally and nationally! You pay nothing extra for the cards, but a small profit from the sale of each card stays at Lakeshore. Scrip will be available on Sundays following service (in the Atrium) and in the church office on Mondays thru Thursdays from 9 am-2 pm.   • Bring in your empty printer/ink cartridges for recycling

    Our office is collecting your empty ink cartridges and recycling them for savings at a local store. Please help us defray the cost office supplies. Bring in your empty cartridges and give them to the person behind the Information Center. (There will be a container under the counter for them to place them in.)
