  • Sunday Sermon - November 19th

S.D.G. These initials were signed by Johann Sebastian Bach at the end of many of his musical compositions. They stand for Soli Deo Gloria. Those Latin words came to be used as the last of the five slogans that came out of the Reformation. All we do is not for us and our pride, but for God's glory and honor. What motivates us is the presence of God's splendor and glory revealed in Christ Jesus. "To God Alone Be the Glory!" is the message this Sunday based on 2 Chronicles 5:13-14; 7:1-4; and 2 Corinthians 3:17-4:18.

  • All Congregational Meeting update - ARK Roofing Project

At our congregational meeting on November 5th, we had 57 members of Lakeshore in attendance. The approval was given to move forward with replacement of the roof on the ARK portion of the church building; which is planned for Spring of 2018. A contract has been secured and gifts for this project are welcome. Our anticipated need is up to, but not to exceed $50,000 per our contract. The congregation was also informed of a possible timeline of other future facility improvements (i.e. parking lot) to be considered at a congregational meeting in January (date is to be announced). In the New Year, we will discuss a possible capital campaign to fund any congregationally approved projects, plus potentially roll in any remaining roof deficit. If you missed the November meeting, please ask for a copy of the presentation.

Be assured that Lakeshore Fellowship has a security process in place and is reviewing the security protocol to ensure the safety of our congregation.
