The last book of the Bible, Revelation, can be a strange, scary book that often has fostered all kinds of wild speculations about the end-times. But, when understood in light of it's Old Testament imagery, Revelation presents a magnificent vision and challenge for us to live as faithful disciples of King Jesus until He returns in glory no matter how chaotic and evil the world gets. This class, titled, "Follow the Lamb in Babylon toward the New Creation", will meet on Monday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 pm beginning November 11. Please register for this free class at the Information Center or by emailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Have you seen Pastor Chris's weekly podcast? He has given this podcast a name; Weekly Video Connect. It is a time for him to reflect with you on the previous Sunday's message and "connect" with the family of Lakeshore! Click Here to view the library of podcasts. Pastor will be updating this Video Connect every Monday. You can also find the videos on our website at www.lakeshorefellowship.com then hover on the worship tab, then click on the Pastor's Podcast tab. The most recent podcast will be at the top. Enjoy!

A new group has been formed, Lakeshore's Handy Crew, who would like to manage 2-3 projects per year to help someone in need in our community. Join Bill Spychalski and a few others to complete their second community project on Saturday, November 2nd at 9 am! The "Handy Crew" will be replacing flooring in a mobile home of someone in need. Once you let Bill know you will help, he will then contact you with the location and what to bring. If you are handier in the “food department” and you would like to provide a lunch for the volunteers, please also sign up. This project is a great opportunity for the members of Lakeshore Fellowship to serve the community with their time and talents! Any questions or to sign-up, please call Bill Spychalski at 616-402-3264.

Altar Flowers: Given by Kas Bond in loving memory of her family.

The cross is a popular symbol that even celebrities may wear as a piece of jewelry around their neck. Yet, what does the cross actually mean as the central symbol of the Christian faith? We know the cross has something to do with how God rescues us as sinners. But, what exactly happened at the cross, and how does it affect the way we live our lives today? We continue our series, Authentic Christianity, with the message this Sunday titled, "The Saving Work of the Incarnate God" based on Colossians 1:15-29.

Help us encourage and support Pastor Chris and his family as we celebrate "Pastor Appreciation Month"! A card box will be in the Atrium for next few Sundays. Please consider sending him a card or writing him a note of appreciation. Blank note cards will be available.
