Forgiveness for Us and Others

Written by
Sunday, August 11th Message:
If you've ever had a clogged drain, then you know how it stops the flow of water and causes the water to back up. Something similar happens when we allow anger, resentment, and unforgiveness to clog us up spiritually.
When there's a spiritual clog in our hearts then we hinder and may even stop the flow of the Holy Spirit!
That's why Jesus teaches to pray the Sixth Petition, "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us."
Join us this Sunday as we continue our series on prayer with the message, "Forgiveness for Us and Others" based on Matthew 6:9-15; 18:21-35.

This week we welcome guest Mark Roberts, Associate Director for First Priority of America, visiting us from Florida.
Mark is a motivational and dynamic speaker you won't want to miss! Join us Sunday morning at 10 am!

Sunday's message:
When we pray it's all too easy for us to consider our own needs or the needs of others first. "Lord, help us, heal us, bless us, direct us."
But Jesus changes our priorities for prayer when He teaches us to focus on God's concerns first as we pray, "Hallowed be Thy name" - or in more clear English, "Your name be honored as holy."
This Sunday we continue our new series, Lord, Teach Us to Pray, as we consider the First Petition of the Lord's Prayer in our message titled, "God's Name is to Be Holy in Our Lives" based on Matthew 6:9-13 and John 17.

The Invitation to Pray to Our Father

Written by
Sunday's message: Are you daily connecting with the Lord in prayer? Do you feel like your prayer life could grow deeper and more consistent?
Just like the disciples, perhaps our request is, Lord, Teach Us How to Pray. This is the theme of our new message series for the summer as we look at the petitions of the Lord's Prayer that Jesus gave to teach us how to pray.
Our first message this Sunday is "The Invitation to Pray to Our Father" from Matthew 6:5-13, 7:7-12.

"What Are You Living For?" That's the title of our message for this coming Sunday.
So many people are confused about what their purpose or aim in life is. In fact, there is an epidemic of meaninglessness that is driving up the rate of drinking, drug use, violence and suicide rates. We have a reason to live that transforms our lives when we know God's love revealed in our risen Lord. Because He lives, we live too - no longer for ourselves, but for Him!
Come and hear what God's Word says to us in 2 Corinthians 5:14 - 6:2.

The Slain Lamb Reigns Over All

Written by
When we look at politics in our government or in nations around the world, we see a lot of personal power plays, corruption, and a lack of truth-telling. Not to mention how things go in families, businesses, churches and communities.
In all the disorder of life that we face, is the Lord really in control of it all? Sometimes it's hard to believe.
But the truth is that how the Lord reigns is not by coercive power, but by His self-giving love, and in the end His love will reign over all.
Our message this Sunday is titled, "The Slain Lamb Reigns Over All" based on Revelation 5:1-14.
