Follow the Light in the Darkness

Written by
A new season in the church year begins this Sunday called Epiphany. This word means "revealing" or "manifestation." We follow how God revealed the light of His glory in the life and ministry of Jesus the Christ for those lost in the darkness of this world.
Our new series titled The Reign of King Jesus is Here begins with the epiphany of God's glory by a bright star that led a group of wise men to the child Jesus.
The message, "Follow the Light in the Darkness" is based on Isaiah 60:1-6, 19-21; Matthew 2:1-12.

King Jesus is God with Us!

Written by
Is God so big that He doesn't care about our little problems? Absolutely not!
The best news in the world is that the infinite God came to be present with us in the finite, small humanity of a baby named Jesus to love us by saving us from sin and evil.
Now we can be confident by faith in Jesus that the infinite God is with us no matter what!
Our message this Sunday is titled, "King Jesus is God with Us!" based on Matthew 1:18-25.

The King who Delivers Us From Evil

Written by
Sunday's message; "Do not be afraid." The Lord comforts us with these words in a world riddled with fear and anxiety.
This Sunday we continue our Advent series, Waiting for the King, with the message, "The King who Delivers Us," based on 2 Kings 18 - 20.

During the Christmas season we sing and hear songs about Jesus as "Emmanuel" - "God with us." But we may seriously wonder at times where God's presence is at when life hurts. How do you respond when you don't feel God is present with you?
This Sunday we continue our series Waiting for the King with the message, "The King Who Brings God's Heavenly Presence to Earth." The Scripture reading is from 1 Kings 7 - 8, and Malachi 3:1-4.

The King Who Puts All Things Right

Written by
The season of Advent within the church year begins this Sunday! This is a time leading up to Christmas to focus on repentance and waiting.
We acknowledge the sinful brokenness in our lives and in the world, and we confess our need for God's mercy. And we wait. We wait for King Jesus who came 2,000 years ago to come now into our lives; we also wait for Him to finally come in glory on the last Day.
Our new message series for this Advent season is titled, Waiting for the King, with the first message, "The King Who Puts All Things Right" based on 2 Samuel 7:1-17 and Isaiah 11:1-19.
