Each week he will be calling a handful of families and individuals to connect with them, so he can encourage them in their walk with Christ and know how he can best pray for them in his weekly prayers for the Lakeshore family.

  • Community Group Stories
    News from the Deater Community Group - As a group, they decided to manage a service project for "Kid's Food Basket" in Muskegon using a Grant from Thrivent. Their group met and assembled over 1,000 snack bags! Way to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community! Thank you!

  • Kids Christmas service project
    All kids at Lakeshore will be participating in a service project for Helen DeVos Children's Hospital to give gifts to the children there at Christmas. For a list of items, click HERE (then click on the "Ways to Give" tab, then "Child Life Wish List") Donations can be dropped off in the children's area. We will continue collection now thru December 12th. Thanks for helping our kids experience the blessing of giving.
  • Mandatory Christmas Service Rehearsal (Preschool thru High School)
    If you have children interested in participating in our Children's Christmas Service (on 12-23-18), please note there are TWO Mandatory Christmas Service rehearsals for preschoolers thru high school on Sunday, December 9 & 16 following our regular services.

  • Seeking Volunteers for Sunday "CONNECT"
    Greetings Family of Lakeshore! We are seeking volunteers (or groups) to sign-up for hosting a Sunday CONNECT in 2019! As you may know, Lakeshore Fellowship hosts a time for connecting following service, once per month (every 2nd Sunday of the month). We have relied on Community Groups in 2018 for preparing food and serving us (Thank you!!). We are looking for a commitment of only 1 time in 2019. Please contact the church office if you have questions about what this requires. Please consider spending one Sunday in 2019 serving your church family! Thank you!!

  • Honduras Trip 2018

    Our 2018 Honduras Mission Trip was JUNE 19th-26th. Our team has their stories to share! Click HERE 

  • Aldea Coffee
    If you missed the chance to purchase Aldea Coffee from our favorite Honduran farmers last week, there will be another opportunity on Sunday, December 16th. Stop by the table in the Atrium following service that day. 
    There is also a need in Honduras for financial support of medical needs. If you feel led to donate, please place your donations in the basket at the Aldea Coffee sales table (on December 16th). Thank you!
  • Theology on Tap
    Men's outreach with Pastor Chris and Jim Albright. Meet at a NEW LOCATION - The Grand Armory Brewing (corner of 2nd & Franklin) in downtown Grand Haven. Please consider inviting men you know who are unchurched or who have doubts/questions about Christianity. This is a place where we can freely discuss together questions about Christianity over a beer in a safe, non-threatening environment. Theology on Tap will be at the Armory every 1st and 3rd Tuesday at 7 pm. Bring a friend and enjoy some Theology on Tap!
  • Household Necessity Pantry

    The Household Necessities Pantry Give-A-Way occurs several times a year where members of our community in need of personal care items are given shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, liquid dish soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, laundry detergent, toilet paper, trash bags and household cleaner. Members of Lakeshore; if you are in need of pantry items, you do not need to wait for distribution days!   • Remember in Your Prayers

    Megan Johnson, for recovery from surgery on 12-6-18 to remove 2 masses. Pray for good results after the pathology report comes back and for her comfort as she heals over the next few weeks (missing at least two weeks of high school). Prayers also for Shannon Johnson and family as they nurse Megan back to health. 

    Andy Paris, fighting cancer and hoping for a good report from a recent biopsy. 

    Jim & Bonnie Pendell's daughter, Jamie who had successful surgery to remove a kidney on December 5th. Please continue to pray for her recovery and healing. Restrain the cancer.

Other News

  • Trinity's Christmas Nativity Walk
    Come prepare your heart for the true meaning of Christmas at Trinity, Muskegon's FREE Christmas Nativity Walk. Tours take about 50 minutes and visit 8 live scenes that portray God's story of love for you. Stop by on Friday, December 14th or Saturday, December 15th any time between 6-8:45 pm or Sunday, December 16th between 2-4 pm. Trinity Lutheran is located at 3225 Roosevelt Road in Muskegon.
  • AGAPE

    Members of Lakeshore Fellowship may be familiar with AGAPE. If not, this is a special account of which members can financially designate funds toward; in order to support other Lakeshore Fellowship members that may have dire financial needs. (This account previously was financially funded by Scrip, however, funds from Scrip are now supporting our RENEW campaign.) We have a team that manages AGAPE and analyzes each need as they come forward. Applications for support are available in the church office.

    If you have the means and feel led to support AGAPE, please note your contribution for "AGAPE" when utilizing your giving envelopes (or somehow note your contribution). Thank you!

  • Scrip

    Do you ever wonder what gift cards are available to purchase through Scrip? Here is a LIST of all available stores. Some are special orders, and would need to be paid for in advance of ordering...so please check with Dana Saunders on Sunday. Proceeds from Scrip sales is now going toward the technology upgrade project in the Worship Center! Help us earn free money to help pay for our project! We order cards from thousands of merchants locally and nationally! You pay nothing extra for the cards, but a small profit from the sale of each card stays at Lakeshore. Scrip will be available on Sundays following service (in the Atrium) and in the church office on Mondays thru Thursdays from 9 am-2 pm. Reminder: Scrip purchases can also be made online at www.shopwithscrip.com.   • Inclement Weather

    If a service or any event is ever cancelled here at Lakeshore, we will post on Facebook and our website at www.lakeshorefellowship.com as well as let the news media know by 3pm Monday thru Saturday and by 8am Sunday. You can check with the following media stations to know if the church will be closed due to bad weather conditions:
