  • Sunday Sermon - September 23

Where is God in the hurricane? Undoubtedly, that question is being asked by many people in the aftermath of Hurricane Florence's devastation in North and South Carolina. As we follow Jesus, trusting "God's Promise to Rescue His Creation," how do we respond when tragedy strikes and our dreams are dashed. Our message this Sunday is titled, "Assurance in Adversity" based on Genesis 37- 50.

  • Paper Gator ~ Fundraising ENDING next week

Our Final week of recycling with the Paper Gator is upon us! Please help support the youth by bringing specific recycling from home to Lakeshore! In the back area of our parking lot you will notice a large Green “Paper Gator” bin. We are encouraging you to bring your unwanted newsprint, catalogs, magazines, regular paper, junk mail, telephone books, as well as hard and soft cover books. These items are then re-purposed for cat litter, hydro-seeding mulch, and small animal bedding. Please note, this bin does not accept any plastic, metal, glass, cardboard or paperboard (cereal box material). Tell your friends they are welcome to use it! Thank you for your support of this program!

  • AGAPE
Did you know that Lakeshore Fellowship has an AGAPE Fund? AGAPE is the Greek word for love. It signifies self-sacrificing love. It is a reaction of the love Jesus has shown us, and as believers, we should show to others. This fund allows the church body to Glorify God by serving His people and allow the church family to help others overcome unique financial circumstances. The fund enables the church to provide financial aid to members or families who are in need on an urgent basis and where there are no other viable financial options. (At this time, this fund is not intended to provide for those in need who are outside our church family - as there are other organizations in the community.) We have a team of leaders that have established guidelines and applications for such needs. All requests for aid are fully analyzed and agreed upon by the team before any support is given. We are asking that the congregation consider gifting this program throughout the year. If you would like to support AGAPE, please mark your giving envelope with such details. If we could receive support from just a few people to contribute $10-$20 per month...or even just once-in-a-while...that would support the needs of AGAPE for Lakeshore. Any questions, please contact Dan Bush or Randy Deater.
  • RENEW Campaign

Members of Lakeshore Fellowship voted to enter into a capital campaign to manage our larger maintenance needs (roof, technology, parking lot). The campaign has been named: RENEW. Brochures are available (RENEW Brochure) to educate you on the campaign, and how we need your help to make it succeed!  Commitment Cards are still being accepted. If you have not yet had the opportunity to fill out a Commitment Card, please prayerfully do so. We would like to collect a card from EACH family-unit here at Lakeshore Fellowship (even if you cannot give at this time). RENEW Commitment Card

We will be personally contacting all families that do not reply, so all members will have the opportunity to know about our facility needs. Please simply let us know. Commitment Cards can be returned via mail, email, or dropping in the offering basket this Sunday. Thank you, Family of Lakeshore Fellowship!
