  • Easter - Thank You
    A big THANK YOU to all who helped with our 2019 Easter Celebration! There were many hands that helped with our special services on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday, as well as our Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Sunday services. Everything went so well and looked so nice! This family of Lakeshore Fellowship really knows how to love and support one another. Your service has been a blessing to us all!
  • Synod Challenge - Matching Funds
    Synod Challenge - Matching Funds

    A Lakeshore Fellowship member has contributed a $2,500 “dollar for dollar” challenge to go directly toward our 2019 Synod commitment. Every dollar contributed would result in two dollars going to Synod up to $5,000. The challenge is ON! If you would like to support this effort, please mark your donation “Synod Challenge”. Also, we are looking for a volunteer who has a passion for Synod to act as our coordinator for this project. Please let the office know if you are interested. This would be a short term responsibility until project completion.  

  • Charity Golf Outing
    Charity Golf Outing On Sunday, May 19th at 1 pm at the Fruitport Golf Club, Lakeshore Fellowship will be hosting a charity event to support our community outreach efforts, to include Supper House and the Household Necessities Pantry. This 18-hole, 4-person scramble will be $60 per player which includes dinner. There is a $15 dinner-only option as well as hole sponsorship opportunities. Join us for a fun day of golf, food, prizes, and fellowship for a great cause! Sign-up by Sunday, April 14th. Stop by our Information Center for the paperwork.     THANK YOU for "CONNECT Lunch" Thank you to the community group that hosted our CONNECT Lunch last Sunday! The group provided an amazing lunch! Community group members include; Rick & Leslie Yonker, Mike & Debi Miller, Cliff & Connie Cook, Tony & Julie DeVecht, John & Laura Koscielniak, and Jack & Kathy DeGelder . Please thank them when you see them! We look forward to our next CONNECT Lunch on Sunday, May 12th.

    Movie Night April 28th "The Breakthrough" TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE! Events Team is hosting a movie night on Sunday, April 28th at 3 pm at the Carousel Cinema in Muskegon.   • National Day of Prayer - First Thursday in May
    This is a reminder that Thursday, May 2nd is the National Day of Prayer on which the people of the United States may turn to God in prayer and meditation at churches, in groups, and as individuals.


  • Are you in a Community Group?
    At Lakeshore, we feel life is done better in circles than rows. Community groups are groups of 8-12 people who gather around their identity in Jesus to grow in Christ, care for one another, and join God on mission in the world.     WOMEN'S Fall RETREAT Ladies, mark your calendars for September 27-29, 2019. We will be going to Grace Adventures camp for a Women's Retreat! Registration begins now with a $25 security deposit made out to Lakeshore Fellowship. This is a different camp location than last year, and we understand it fills up fast. Please sign-up and pay your deposit soon. There will be a sign-up sheet at the Information Center. Total cost of the weekend is $129, which includes lodging and meals. Speaker this year will be Lynn Cowell with her message to equip women to find their confidence and identity in God's unfailing love rather than their own abilities with practical steps to walk in their calling with confidence. Worship will be led by Danielle DeBone.

    Kidz Connection Sunday morning following worship songs, all children thru 4th grade are encouraged to join us in the ARK! All children in Kidz Connection will receive a free copy of the "Books of the Bible, NT Kids version". Please see Shannon Johnson. Special guests from Kids' Food Basket will be visiting us on Sunday, May 5th! More details to come.
  • National Youth Gathering Fundraising Envelopes
    National Youth Gathering Fundraising Envelopes Please support our 13 Youth and Leaders that are going on the National Youth Gathering trip in July! Stop by the Atrium to visit their "Envelope Board"! Please take an envelope with a number on it, and return it to us in next week's offering with the matching number of dollars in it. For example, if you take envelope number 75, then please return the envelope with $75 (if a check, please make out to Lakeshore Fellowship with NYG in the memo section).

  • National High School Youth Gathering 2019
    Our students are getting ready for the LCMS National Youth Gathering in Minneapolis, Minnesota, July 11-15, 2019!! Please let us know if you can help drive us to the Grand Rapids Airport on Wednesday, July 10th, leaving our church parking lot at 4:15 AM. There will be 3 three-year positions available. Qualifications and Responsibilities for GMB membership are printed and on the Information Center.   • Seeking Volunteers for Sunday "CONNECT"
    Seeking Volunteers for Sunday "CONNECT" We are seeking volunteers (or groups) to sign-up for hosting a Sunday CONNECT Lunch in 2019! As you may know, Lakeshore Fellowship hosts a time for connecting  following service, once per month (every 2nd Sunday of the month). We have relied on Community Groups in 2018 for preparing food and serving us (Thank you!!). We are looking for a commitment of only 1 time in 2019. Please contact the church office if you have questions about what this requires. Available dates (and donation recipients) are as follows; May 12th (CONNECT FUND), June 9 (RENEW campaign), July 14 (CONNECT Fund), August 11 (CONNECT Fund), September 8 (LCMS Synod), October 13 (RENEW), November 10 (LCMS Synod), December 8 (CONNECT Fund). Please consider spending one Sunday in 2019 serving your church family!


  • Men's Group - Community Outreach
    Our Men's group will be reaching out to the community to work on a project guided by Love In Action and supported by Thrivent Financial. The project involves building a deck, replacing an entrance door and other small projects for someone in need. The project date is June 22nd starting at 9 am. The group will have enough workers ready to go, but they could use donations to support the building materials or food items for volunteers. If you would like to donate toward this effort, please let the church office know. Any questions, see Bill Spychalski. There are plans for 2 of these projects per year. Thank you to the Men's Group for this hands-on way to love our community with the Love of Christ!
  • Household Necessity Pantry
    Household Necessity Pantry

    The Household Necessities Pantry Give-A-Way occurs several times a year where members of our community in need of personal care items are given shampoo, conditioner, bar soap, liquid dish soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, laundry detergent, toilet paper, trash bags and household cleaner. (Members of Lakeshore; if you are in need of pantry items, you do not need to wait for distribution days!     If you wish to donate to our pantry, mark your donation for "GO Local - Pantry", or you may donate items listed previously. 

    Remaining 2019 Pantry Give-a-ways at 9 am:  June 15th, August 17th (with school supplies), December 14th (with 8:30 am Christmas Breakfast). On April 20th, our team will host an Easter Egg Hunt for the children (no pantry that date).

    Our Lost & Found bin is over flowing! Please stop by the Information Center this week to find your lost items. Someone even lost 2 speedway gift cards (minimal balances remaining). Must be able to give a description of cards to redeem. Thank you for helping us clean out the bin!

    Members of Lakeshore Fellowship may be familiar with AGAPE. If not, this is a special account of which members can financially designate funds toward; in order to support other Lakeshore Fellowship members that may have dire financial needs. (This account previously was financially funded by Scrip, however, funds from Scrip are now supporting our RENEW campaign.) We have a team that manages AGAPE and analyzes each need as they come forward. Applications for support are available in the church office.

    If you have the means and feel led to support AGAPE, please note your contribution for "AGAPE" when utilizing your giving envelopes (or somehow note your contribution). Thank you!

    Do you ever wonder what gift cards are available to purchase through Scrip? Here is a LIST of all available stores. Some are special orders, and would need to be paid for in advance of please check with Dana Saunders on Sunday. Proceeds from Scrip sales is now going toward the technology upgrade project in the Worship Center! Help us earn free money to help pay for our project! We order cards from thousands of merchants locally and nationally! You pay nothing extra for the cards, but a small profit from the sale of each card stays at Lakeshore. Scrip will be available on Sundays following service (in the Atrium) and in the church office on Mondays thru Thursdays from 9 am-2 pm.
