Pastor Chris recommended several books in last Sunday's message on whether the Bible is trustworthy. Those books are: The Bedrock of Christianity: The Unalterable Facts of Jesus' Death and Resurrection by Justin Bass; Is Atheism Dead? by Eric Metaxas; and Unearthing the Bible: 101 Archaeological Discoveries That Bring the Bible to Life by Titus Kennedy.

Kidz Connection
Kidz Connection meets Sundays for PK-4th grade following praise songs. Kids should attend worship until the songs are done, then Pastor will release them to join in the ARK for Kidz Connection. (Activity bags will still be available for kids that want to stay in worship with their families.)

The Ends of the Earth - MOVIE
Please mark your calendars and sign up to attend a missions motivated movie for all ages to enjoy…to take the good news of the gospel “To the Ends of the Earth”. We will host this private showing here at Lakeshore Lutheran following service on Sunday, August 21st. Pizza lunch, popcorn, ice cream all provided. Free will offering will be taken. Stop by the Information Center for more information or to sign up. We would like to know how many plan to attend, so we can plan the food accordingly. Thank you!

Memorial Prayer Garden
Our memorial prayer garden has been started. We are now accepting memorial funds, in any amount, to help support this project. Gifts of $200 or more will have a special plaque placed in your loved one’s memory. This special Memorial Garden is to Honor, Celebrate and Remember loved ones. Thank you all for prayerfully considering whether this is something that you would like to financially support in their memory. Donations should be made out to Lakeshore Lutheran Fellowship with Memorial Garden in the Memo section. Please stop by the Information Center to fill out a dedication card. Thank you!

Kidz Kamp
FREE Summer-long Kidz Kamp! Open to include PK thru 4th grade! This summer's theme will be "Around the World". Kidz Kamp will have Bible stories, crafts, music, games, and lunch! This completely FREE camp will meet outside at Lakeshore Lutheran Fellowship weekly on Wednesdays from 11 am – 1 pm. Program runs from June 15 thru August 17. Women's 2nd Annual Beach Blast
All women invited to the Women’s 2nd Annual Beach Blast! Kathy DeGelder has graciously offered to again host at her Lake Michigan beach frontage on Monday, August 22nd at 6:30 pm. Parking is easy and golf cart rides are provided from the parking lot to the chairs on the beach! So, no worries about walking a long distance on the sand. You won’t want to miss this amazingly beautiful beach experience, located just north of the North Pier. Chairs and snacks provided. Just let us know you plan to attend by signing up at the Information Center by no later than July 31st.

Women's 1st ROAD TRIP!
Coming soon, a women’s road trip! Plan early to attend this fun event – Cornwell’s Dinner Theatre in Turkeyville, Michigan. This will be a one-day trip on Saturday, October 1st from 8:30 am and returning by 7:15 pm. Transportation will be on a charter bus that will take women from our West Michigan area. These events fill up, so registrations are being taken NOW. Cost is $119 per person which includes transportation, entertainment and lunch! If you are interested, please click HERE to register! Men's Huddle
Every Thursday morning at 8:30 am, a great group of guys meet for a time of coffee, fellowship, prayer and projects. These are the gentlemen that make sure the baptismal font is filled, the candles are set for Sunday, chairs/tables are managed as needed, and various other small tasks. Once they complete a few tasks, they meet for a time of fellowship, devotion and prayer. This group is open for any man that would like to join. The group is done generally by 9:30 am. Greeting Card Ministry
Custom handmade greeting cards have been donated to be used by the members of Lakeshore to send to Lakeshore's shut-ins, those who are ill, or recovering from surgery. We have these cards available to pick up at our Information Center along with a list of suggested recipients as well as Bible verse labels to include on the card. Thank you for your time filling out these notes of encouragement!

Household Necessity Pantry
The Household Necessities Pantry (HNP) remaining dates for 2022 will be: August 13, October 8, and December 10.
The HNP giveaways help our local community that is in need of personal care items. If you would like to donate toward this much needed outreach, please bring in any of the following items: Shampoo, Conditioner, Liquid Dish Soap, Toothpaste, Laundry Detergent (50+ oz liquid), Spray-Household Cleaner, Deodorant, Toilet Paper (6 pack) & Trash Bags (13 gallon). Other items we give away such as; toothbrushes and bar soap are in large inventory...so there is no need for these in 2022. Thank you for your support!
Packing Event for the August HNP Pantry will be Thursday, August 11th at 5:30-6 pm in the ARK.
Also, volunteers for the Pantry (on Saturday, August 13th) should be here by 8:30 pm. The HNP Pantry is at 9-9:30 am. Thank you!

Sandy Christmas asked for prayers for her granddaughter, Kendal Christmas, who fell last week and had to have knee surgery. She is in pain, so please pray for healing. Kendal will also be traveling back to Virginia with her family this week. Prayers for safe travels. Sandy would also appreciate prayers for the newlyweds, Connor & Abby Boyd as they travel on their honeymoon.
Stacie Petersen - Traveling mercy for a family vacation. Also for comfort for the family, as my Aunt Doris passed away on July 21st.

We’re excited to announce Lakeshore Lutheran Fellowship has upgraded our mobile app! Vanco, our eGiving provider, has launched an updated mobile app called Vanco Mobile (to replace GivePlus Mobile).
You can download the Vanco Mobile app for free from the App Store or Google Play. Do you shop at D&W Fresh Market or any Spartan/Nash grocery stores? If so, please consider donating your (whole) receipt to Lakeshore. We will be participating in their Direct Dollars program. Each time you shop, your receipt will indicate Direct Dollars on your receipt (we will need the whole receipt). When we collect $150,000 points, we can turn them in for $1,000.00 check! Receipts can be as old as 2016, so if you have older receipts, we will still take them! Please drop your receipts off at the Information Center on Sundays. Thank you!
