Visit a Community Group
Are you interested in getting to know people at Lakeshore? Are you ready to form some meaningful relationships? Jesus calls us to follow Him as disciples who live in community with other disciples. The best way we, at Lakeshore, connect people together to experience life-transforming community is within our Community Groups. These are groups of 8-15 people who meet together on a regular basis around the presence of Jesus. Our Community Groups meet for mutual care and support, for growth in faith as disciples of Jesus, and for reaching out to make more disciples connected to the love of Jesus.

Commit to the Lakeshore Family
Jesus calls us to follow Him by declaring our faith in Him as Lord and Savior, by being baptized in His name – our adoption into His family – and by committing ourselves to do life together with a family of His disciples. This is what has traditionally been called "church membership." We call it "commitment to God's family." Just as God, in His love, has committed Himself to us in Christ and by the Holy Spirit joins us to His body by faith through baptism, He calls us to commit our lives to follow Jesus in a family of His disciples, a church, who are committed to each other. This means declaring that you are a follower of Jesus and being baptized. (If you would like to learn more about baptism or would like to meet with Pastor about being baptized, please call our church office at 616-846-8556.)
Making this kind of commitment is necessary to become a fully-connected follower of Jesus who can be entrusted with leadership in His body. If you are ready to take this step of commitment to the Lakeshore Family to share "ownership" in the ministry of this body, then please contact the church office at 616-846-8556 or
