2024 Giving Envelopes

We now have your 2024 Giving Envelopes ready for pick-up. Please find them in alphabetical order, by last name, at the Information Center this Sunday! Anyone who gives electronically (via Vanco, your personal bank or financial institution) will not receive physical paper Giving Envelopes. Any questions, please connect with the church office. 

As always, THANK YOU for your support of this ministry. YEAR END GIVING for 2023 needs to be IN our office by Tuesday, December 26th to be included. Any giving beyond that date will be included in the deposit for January 2, 2024.

Children's Christmas Service

Nursery

Our Nursery is staffed on Sunday mornings. The room is also open for parents to change diapers or to have a place to nurse while still being able to listen to the sermon via the in-room speaker system. Kidz Connection

Kidz Connection meets Sundays for PK-4th grade following praise songs. Kids should attend worship until the songs are done, then Pastor will release them to join in the ARK for Kidz Connection. (Activity bags will still be available for kids that want to stay in worship with their families.)

Town Hall Meeting- December 10th

Young Adult (18+) Event

Young Adult (18+ thru 27) LOCK-IN on Friday, December 22nd at 7 pm, beginning with bowling and pizza. Breakfast included in the morning. Event ends at 9 am on Saturday, December 23rd. Any questions or to sign-up, text Meghan Johnson at 231-286-4884. 

HOPE Project (ANGEL TREE)

Our Youth (CREW) students are hosting an Angel Tree this year to support the HOPE Project. Stop by our Angel Tree in the Atrium and take an ornament to purchase the item listed. Please return all gifts, unwrapped, by Sunday, December 17th. Thank you all for your support of this wonderful ministry. See Shannon Johnson for details. 

CREW Middle/High school

CREW (Middle & High School Ministry) meets weekly on Sundays, following service until 2 pm. Free lunch provided. Meet in the Youth Room. 

Youth Fundraiser - RADA Cutlery

It's that time again to think of Christmas Gifts for family & friends. Please consider a gift of cutlery or cookbooks. CREW Breakfast Club

High School Breakfast Club meets every Sunday at 9:15 am! All high schoolers AND COLLEGE STUDENTS welcome to join us in the Youth Room! Questions, see Shannon Johnson.

Women's Fellowship Hour

Women’s Fellowship Hour is open to all women on Wednesdays in the Prayer Room at 1 pm. Come next Wednesday to spend time together in community with other Christian women to support each other and to pray. Please note that the group will not meet on December 27th. There will also be a Christmas Luncheon at TED's in Spring Lake on Wednesday, December 20th at 12:30 pm. Please bring a $15 gift to participate in a fun gift exchange! Men's Huddle

Every Thursday morning from 8:30-9:30 am, a great group of guys meet for a time of coffee, fellowship, prayer and projects. They make sure the baptismal font is filled, the candles are set for Sunday, chairs/tables are managed as needed and various other small tasks. Once completed, they meet for a time of fellowship and prayer. This group is open for any man that would like to join. Any questions, please connect with Randy Deater at 616-402-5248.

Men's Prayer Breakfast and Bible Study

Meets every second Saturday of the month in the Atrium. Come anytime between 7–7:30 am for breakfast and then 7:30-8:30 am is the study & prayer time. All men are welcome to join December 9th! Any questions, please call Randy Deater at 616-402-5248.

Volunteers Needed

We are looking for a few volunteers in the children's area this fall 2023. Please connect with Shannon Johnson if you can serve in Sunday Morning Kidz Connection (either teaching or managing the security desk) or if you can serve as a leader in our Middle School ministry that meets Sundays after service. Greeting Card Ministry

Custom handmade greeting cards have been donated to be used by the members of Lakeshore to send to Lakeshore's shut-ins, those who are ill, or recovering from surgery. We have these cards available to pick up in the Atrium (on the wall-shelf). Thank you for your time filling out these notes of encouragement!

Supper House

On the second Monday of each month the members of Lakeshore Lutheran Fellowship provide volunteers and funding to feed hungry guests at Supper House located in Muskegon Heights. To support this mission or to serve, please call Randy Deater at 616-402-5248.

Household Necessity Pantry

The remaining Household Necessities Pantry (HNP) giveaway in 2023 will be on December 9 at 9-9:30 am.
The HNP giveaways help our local community that is in need of personal care items. If you would like to donate toward this much needed outreach, please bring in any of the following items: Shampoo, Conditioner, Liquid Dish Soap, Toothpaste, Laundry Detergent (50+ oz liquid), Spray-Household Cleaner, Deodorant, Toilet Paper (6 pack) & Trash Bags (13 gallon), Bar soap and Toothbrushes

Inventory needs are listed at the Information Center or call the church office.

The next Packing Event will be on Thursday, December 7th at 5:30-6 pm in the ARK.
