"Messiah's Triumphal Entry" presented to us by Chosen People Ministries
On Thursday, March 30th at 7 pm we will host Chosen People Ministries as they present; "Messiah's Triumphal Entry" into Jerusalem. The timing of this presentation will prepare our hearts and minds to understand what Jesus was going through when he entered Jerusalem just prior to Holy Week. What did the palms mean? Why did the people welcome Jesus like a king? How did everything actually happen on "Palm Sunday"? Our guest speaker, Neal Surasky, traveling from Columbia, Maryland will give us a historical picture of Jesus' entry to Jerusalem. You won't want to miss this very special evening.
Community Easter Egg Hunt (4/8/23 @ 10 am)
We are now collecting pre-filled plastic Easter Eggs (or small individually wrapped candies to go inside the plastic eggs we have). All donations can be dropped off in the Atrium. We are trying to collect 3-4,000 eggs! Please help us support this amazing community event. Thank you!
Community Easter Egg Hunt will be on Saturday, April 8th at 10 am. Volunteers will be needed. Connect with Vickie Deater if you want to help.

Are You in a Community Group?

Community groups are groups of 8-12 people who gather around their identity in Jesus to grow in Christ, care for one another, and join God on mission in the world. Community groups meet 2-4 times a month, typically at homes in the area. To join a community group, sign up on the connection card, or contact our church office at 616-846-8556 or

Serve
Altar Guild
If you are looking for ways to serve the Lord by serving the family of Lakeshore, but want to do something "behind the scene", please consider being trained to assist on the Altar Guild.
We are looking for a few individuals to help us in 2023. The duties include setting-up for communion then stay after the service to clean-up. (It does not mean that you must be a part of the distribution of communion, but rather, just taking care of set-up and clean-up.)
This could be a great opportunity for a community group or a family to serve together one month out of the year. If you have any questions, see Bev Scheil or Jayne Platz (
Join us for a group training session on Saturday, March 25th at 1 pm in the church's kitchen. (must be 21 years old or older)
Greeting Card Ministry

Thank you for your time filling out these notes of encouragement!
